What people who actually tested it found
We have not physically tested this unit and we do not pretend otherwise. Below is what independent reviewers and owners who have put hands on it reported — each claim linked to its source so you can check it yourself.
Delivered 890Wh from the advertised 1,024Wh (87%), which OutdoorGearLab called one of the most efficient results it has recorded.
Source: OutdoorGearLab (Kenji Mowrey) · 2026-07-23
Measured AC charging at just 512Wh per hour, about two hours from empty, which OutdoorGearLab called its main weakness against rivals that charge twice as fast.

Running a refrigerator overnight, the AC outlets shut off when the compressor cycled off because ECO mode was on. Bluetti support advised disabling ECO mode. A toaster, coffee maker and induction burner together tripped the unit.

Never heard the unit rev louder than a whisper during use; reviewer called its 30dB rating one of the quietest he's heard.

What testers flag that the spec sheet does not
- Turn ECO mode off when running a fridge, or the AC outlets can switch off overnight.
- 2,700W 'Power Lifting' only applies to resistive loads. Size motors off 1,800W.
- Default AC charging is about two hours. Turbo charging is an app setting Bluetti doesn't recommend for daily use.

Our take
The Elite 100 V2 is Bluetti's 1kWh unit and the replacement for the AC180. At $499 on Bluetti's own store, it's about $487 per kWh. That's about $30 less than Anker's C1000 Gen 2 at the same capacity, though the Gen 1 C1000 ($445/kWh), OUPES Mega 1 ($458) and Jackery 1000 v2 ($466) all cost less per kWh. Independent testing is kind to it. OutdoorGearLab got 890Wh out of the 1,024Wh pack, 87%, and called it one of the most efficient units they've tested. Both OutdoorGearLab and PopSci said the fan stayed close to silent. It also takes 1,000W of solar, which is unusually high for this size. Two things to know before you buy. First, default AC charging is slow. OutdoorGearLab measured 512Wh per hour, about two hours from empty, and Bluetti's turbo mode is an app setting that it says isn't for everyday use. Second, CleanTechnica's tester found the AC outlets shut off overnight while running a fridge because ECO mode read the compressor's off-cycle as no load. Turn ECO mode off for fridges. ✓ Strengths
- OutdoorGearLab measured 890Wh out of 1,024Wh (87%), one of the best results in its class
- 1,000W solar input, roughly double what most 1kWh units accept
- Quiet: rated 30dB, and two testers reported the fan stayed near-silent
✕ Trade-offs
- Slow default AC charging: OutdoorGearLab measured 512Wh/hr, about two hours from empty
- Only two AC outlets
- ECO mode can cut AC power to a cycling fridge overnight unless you turn it off

Bluetti Elite 100 V2 problems & common complaints
No unit is flawless. Here are the honest weak points — from our own spec audit and from reviewers and owners who actually used it — so you know what you're accepting before you buy:
- Slow default AC charging: OutdoorGearLab measured 512Wh/hr, about two hours from empty
- Only two AC outlets
- ECO mode can cut AC power to a cycling fridge overnight unless you turn it off
- Turn ECO mode off when running a fridge, or the AC outlets can switch off overnight.
- 2,700W 'Power Lifting' only applies to resistive loads. Size motors off 1,800W.
- Default AC charging is about two hours. Turbo charging is an app setting Bluetti doesn't recommend for daily use.
Spec caveat: Bluetti publishes 1,800W continuous and 2,700W 'Power Lifting', which is a reduced-voltage mode for resistive loads like kettles and heaters. It does not help start a motor. Bluetti's page lists no separate motor-start surge (some reviewers quote 3,600W), so size pumps and compressors off 1,800W.
Sourced from manufacturer spec sheets plus the independent tests linked under "What people who actually tested it found" above. We flag problems even on units we earn commission from — that independence is the point.

Frequently asked questions
Elite 100 V2 or AC180?
The Elite 100 V2 replaces the AC180. Per Bluetti's own comparison it's 12 lb lighter (25 vs 37 lb), switches UPS in 10ms instead of 20ms, and takes 1,000W of solar instead of 500W. The AC180 has 1,152Wh versus 1,024Wh.
Why did my Elite 100 V2 turn off while running a fridge?
Probably ECO mode. CleanTechnica's tester saw the AC outlets shut off when the fridge compressor cycled off. Bluetti support told him to disable ECO mode for that use.
Can it start a sump pump or well pump?
Don't count on it. The 2,700W 'Power Lifting' figure applies only to resistive loads. For motors, plan around 1,800W continuous and check the pump's starting watts.
