A TV is a light, easy load for any power station - no motor, no surge, just steady draw that tracks screen size and panel type. LED/LCD sets are the most efficient (roughly 0.1W per diagonal inch); OLED runs a bit higher and brighter scenes push draw up. For outage planning, the TV is rarely the constraint - it is the fridge or the furnace that sizes your unit, and the TV rides along. A 55-inch at ~90W costs you about 90Wh per hour after inverter losses, so a 1kWh station gives you an evening of news and streaming with capacity to spare.

Can a portable power station run a TV during an outage?
